Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing
In this article I will tell you about the problems related to the network marketing business and the solutions to do it correctly, but before going to the point I want to make a small introduction.
Many confuse these two definitions and many others, such as pyramid scheme, Ponzi scheme, etc., etc.,…
Network Marketing is a legitimate business model. It is not something strange or illegal or even borderline legal.
There are very serious and well-known companies that have adopted network marketing as their distribution strategy.
Network marketing or Multi-Level Marketing is nothing more than selling through a network of people.
This network is generally structured on several levels.
Let’s get into the details, let’s get started!
So what does multi-level marketing mean?
Networks are the people through whom some companies decide to promote their products.
For many years, in every part of the world, there have been absolutely serious, solid, and ethical companies that, instead of opening shops and spending large sums of money to advertise themselves in the media, prefer to share part of their proceeds with the people who distribute their products.
Multi-level marketing is a great way to create a sales network that works effectively and is rewarded in a very meritocratic way.
Already having the possibility of directly selling highly appreciated and sought-after products, earning commissions is very interesting, but if the network develops on several levels this means that we can also earn on the distributors we have brought into the network and perhaps even on those who they let them in.

Basically, the network we create over time works for us and helps generate a very interesting passive income.
If we let people who work hard and sell a lot into our downline, obviously helping them, we will also earn thanks for their work.
However, if you are reading this article you know that the network marketing business model is not free from problems, let’s see what they are and how to solve them.
What are the network marketing problems?
Everyone who chooses to start a network marketing business faces the same problems. Whether they are beginners who use an amateurish approach or professionals, they have normal difficulties associated with selling.
In the initial confusion, the mistake many make is to believe they have problems that no one else has. Once this false belief is developed, failure is around the corner.
The main challenge is the same as in any business that has the sale of goods or services as its object.
Finding customers.
In reality, networkers have a double problem because they need customers interested in buying products and candidates for the business opportunity.
If you don’t do online marketing how do you find customers?
If you choose to become a network marketer and you don’t have the ability to carry out an online marketing action where do you find customers?
Most people think that it is not a problem because they rely on the event or presentation made by others. What you need to understand is how to get these potential customers there and then convert them into active customers.
You definitely need a system that works online to find target people, otherwise you will always be limited to the classic friends-relatives list and risk contacting a lot of people who don’t care what you sell.
All the more reason they will not be willing to join your organization. Soon the contact list will end and goodbye dreams of glory.
Not everyone is interested
Not everyone is a potential customer. Network companies that are undertrained try to convince all adherents that anyone is interested to expand their audience.
This results in a wrong approach of a different kind.
- Contact anyone without distinction.
- Spam on social media or by email.
- Use an aggressive stance.
- Use wrong language. (Ex: Immoderate use of the term opportunity)
The result will only be to create a bad reputation and waste any chance of success.
Where do you get potential customers?
Marketing is made up of three moments.
- Before: how do you get the customer to know the product/service.
- During: your marketing action.
- After: the follow up and how you stay in touch.
Uplines (Those at a higher level) often teach very questionable strategies. For example, they suggest not anticipating anything or inviting people to a party only to find out at the last minute that it’s a network marketing presentation.
This is not normal at all and is a real trap that compromises relationships and drives people away.
The solution

I repeat that you need a system to find customers online, even if you will then follow a live presentation.
Who do you want to find? The answer of many companies is “They are all your potential customers”. In fact, the idea that everyone is on target is often widespread.
Who wouldn’t want to earn more money or improve physically rather than leverage that product or service? I assure you that what seems obvious is not at all.
Let’s take some examples.
People in most cases are not ready to consider that they might deserve wealth, freedom or even just better physical shape.
Their education has made them victims of limiting beliefs that must first be removed.
You need to talk to profiled people because you need motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and at the same time you need to be profiled for them.
Surely there are great leaders who have created incredible structures with important companies without using the internet. They definitely had a market and a lot of high-level contacts or access to environments that are off limits to most of you.
You don’t live in the same conditions so none of this can be duplicated.
You can reach millions of people with online marketing. Like any entrepreneur, you must become a marketing expert to understand which advertising techniques and actions to undertake in order to transform contacts into paying customers.
